Iris Rojas is an urban, rock-inflected story shot like real life. Edgy, lived-in cuts and tousled, shaggy texture meet sleek dark styling and smudged, glam make-up, all carried with a cool, confident, street-level attitude. Shot by Antonio Ramirez Luna for TopPeople, it trades studio polish for raw, contemporary mood – effortless, but always directional.

It captures a very 2006 mood. As the mid-2000s indie-rock moment took hold, salon and editorial hair leaned into deliberately undone, lived-in texture – choppy layers, tousled shag and messy, real-life styling over anything too perfect. Iris Rojas works squarely in that vein, where the cut, the styling and the attitude matter more than the shine.
