British Hairdresser of the Year Collection – Akin Konizi

This is the collection Akin Konizi of HOB Salons created as British Hairdresser of the Year 2007/8, and it shows why. Shot by Andrea Klarin against grey walls with long dramatic shadows, the hair moves from a huge crimped blonde mane and a towering platinum flat-top to a spiky pixie, a long men’s side fringe and a series of sleek, rounded bobs in chocolate and auburn. Everything is dressed in black, so the shapes read instantly. Make-up is by Emma Miles and styling by Damian Foxe, with all products by Wella Professionals.
